Finally, after years of courting, lovebirds Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar sealed their love forever in an intimate wedding ceremony. The wedding took place at Farhan’s father Javed Akhtar ‘Sukoon’ farmhouse in Khandala in the presence of close family and friends. Their close friends from Bollywood including, Hrithik Roshan, Saqib Saleem, Rhea Chakraborty and others graced the wedding and shared glimpses of it on social media. Several pictures and videos have been surfaced online from the glitzy wedding, but there is something special which you surely cannot miss. One viral video sees the newlywed couple vibing on the ‘Dil Chahta Hai track’.
A video from their wedding has been going rounds on the internet where the bride and groom can be seen shaking their legs on the ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ song which was sung by Shankar Mahadevan at the venue. Hrithik too grooved to the song alongside Farhan and Shibani which sets the ambiance all musical. Not only this, to make the D-day more special and memorable, Farhan who is indeed a brilliant singer sang the song ‘Tum Ho Toh’ from Rockstar which left Shibani blushing. Shibani too performed on John Legend’s All Of Me for her man. Apart from this, Javed Akhtar who was on cloud nine at his son’s wedding recited a beautiful poem for the newlywed which he specially composed for their big day.
For their wedding, Shibani Dandekar wore a custom-made outfit designed by Jade by Monica and Karishma, with a red veil stealing the limelight, while Farhan looked dapper in a black tuxedo.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar will have a court marriage on February 21.
